The Miami International Autodrome is a purpose-built temporary circuit constructed around Hard Rock Stadium and its private facilities in Miami Gardens, Florida, United States. The track is 3.363 miles (5.412 km) long, features 19 corners, and produces an average qualifying speed of around 139 mph (224 km/h) in a Formula One car. The circuit was designed by Formula One track designers Apex Circuit Design for the Miami Grand Prix, which joined the Formula One World Championship calendar for the 2022 season.

The circuit was first proposed as early as October 2019, with the stadium's owner Stephen Ross having pursued a Formula One agreement for several years. Up to 75 circuit layouts were considered and 36 were simulated before a design was settled upon. Organisers reached an agreement in principle to host a race from 2021, but the project was delayed when Miami Gardens commissioners initially voted against the track's creation. The vote was reversed on 14 April 2021. The circuit was officially named the Miami International Autodrome on 2 September 2021.

In September 2024, four new circuit layouts were constructed to allow the venue to host racing events throughout the year, beyond the single Formula One weekend. The circuit also hosted the non-championship Evo Sessions for the Formula E World Championship in March 2025, using a shortened layout โ€” designated MIA Loop โ€” to accommodate the reduced range of a Formula E GEN3 Evo car compared to a Formula One car. Celebrities and sports personalities from various backgrounds tested the current Formula E car in those sessions alongside active Formula E drivers.

The circuit is routed around the private grounds of Hard Rock Stadium and uses a combination of new and existing roads within the property. The permanent asphalt pathways are integrated into the stadium's parking infrastructure. The Miami International Autodrome is a temporary circuit: it does not use any public streets surrounding the stadium, though it does cross public roads at certain points. Several weeks before each race weekend, the circuit and its safety infrastructure are assembled, then dismantled and the site returned to normal after the event concludes.

As of 2024, the venue accommodates multiple circuit configurations in addition to the primary Formula One layout used for the Grand Prix.

The Miami International Autodrome hosts the Formula One Miami Grand Prix in May, accompanied by supporting series including the FIA Formula 2 Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, and McLaren Trophy America. From 2026, Formula E's Miami ePrix has been added to the January calendar at the venue. Former events include the W Series and Porsche Sprint Challenge North America in 2022, F1 Academy from 2024 to 2025, and Ferrari Challenge North America in 2025.

The Miami International Autodrome established a new model for Formula One venue development in North America: a purpose-built temporary layout on private land surrounding a major stadium, avoiding the traffic and permitting complications that have historically complicated urban street circuits. The circuit's five-year track record through 2026, combined with its growing event portfolio across motorsport categories, reinforced its position as one of Formula One's permanent American calendar fixtures.
