Unlike most junior drivers, Deledda did not begin in karting. He participated in the Italian Superstock 600 motorcycle championship in 2017 before switching to four-wheeled racing in 2018, making his debut in the Italian F4 Championship with Technorace. His rookie year was difficult — a best finish of 17th at Monza left him 39th in the championship, 16th among rookies.
In 2019 Deledda started the season in the Euroformula Open winter championship at Circuit Paul Ricard with Campos Racing, taking eighth and ninth place in the two races. He then joined the newly established FIA Formula 3 Championship, also with Campos, finishing the season 29th. Retained for 2020 alongside Alex Peroni and Sophia Florsch, his best result across two F3 seasons was a 16th-place finish; all other classified results were 20th or lower.
On 22 January 2021 Deledda was confirmed at HWA Racelab for the Formula 2 season alongside fellow Italian Matteo Nannini. At the Monaco round he qualified 6.8 seconds slower than pole-sitter Theo Pourchaire, outside the 107 percent rule, yet was permitted to start from the back. He finished the season 25th in the championship with no points scored.
For 2022 Deledda joined the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters with Grasser Racing, driving a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo. He scored his only point of the campaign in the final race at Hockenheim and finished 26th in the standings. He also competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona at the start of 2023 with NTE Sport in the GTD class.
His second DTM season, with SSR Performance alongside Mirko Bortolotti and Franck Perera, yielded a best race finish of 18th; he ended the year 32nd in the standings without scoring a point.
The 2024 season brought a breakthrough in the International GT Open. Driving for Oregon Team alongside Lamborghini factory driver Jordan Pepper, Deledda took his first GT3 win at the Hockenheim round, inheriting second after Pepper's stint and passing Anthony Bartone for the lead. He and Pepper finished second in the IGTO endurance event at Spa, added a podium at Le Castellet, and won race one at Spielberg with Deledda consolidating the advantage in wet conditions. Heading into the Monza finale level on points with the championship-leading Eastalent Racing crew, a late puncture while running immediately behind the title rivals decided the outcome: Deledda and Pepper were confirmed as championship runners-up.
In 2025 Deledda competed in the Silver Cup class of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, scoring a class pole at the opening round before finishing 27th in the championship. He also entered the Italian GT Championship Sprint Cup, where he placed 11th overall with a best result of fourth. In April 2026 Deledda was announced as a McLaren GT3 Junior driver, with campaigns in the Italian GT Championship Endurance Cup and McLaren Trophy Europe.
In November 2020, Deledda attracted widespread criticism after posting videos to Instagram showing him driving at extreme speeds on a public Italian motorway near Pomezia, including footage of the dashboard reaching 300 km/h and a point-of-view recording of a Lamborghini Urus being driven at approximately 200 km/h with one hand on the steering wheel. Former Formula 1 driver Giedo van der Garde was among those who publicly criticised his behaviour. Deledda issued a statement claiming the videos were intended to raise awareness of such dangerous driving, framing the incident as his failure to make this intent clear.
