Alex Labbé (born April 29, 1993) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver best known as the 2017 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion. He has competed extensively in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series (formerly Xfinity Series) and has been one of the most prominent Canadian drivers in American NASCAR competition over the past decade.

Born in Quebec, Labbé began racing at a young age in regional competitions. He won the Super Truck Series rookie of the year award and championship in Quebec in 2009, then earned rookie of the year honours in Quebec's ACT Series in 2010 and finished vice-champion there in 2013. In 2014, he became the youngest ACT Series champion at the age of 21, and also won his first two events in the PASS North Series.

Labbé made his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series debut at Circuit ICAR in 2012, finishing sixth. He ran sporadically for several years before a breakout 2016 season with Go Fas Racing in the No. 32 Can-Am Ford. That year he won four poles and claimed victory at Autodrome Chaudiere over Cayden Lapcevich by just over 0.3 seconds, a race widely considered one of the finest in the Pinty's Series history.

Returning to No. 32 in 2017, Labbé won the NASCAR Pinty's Series championship, cementing his status as one of Canada's top stock car drivers. He drove intermittently in the series in subsequent years, running for Jacombs Racing during parts of 2018 and 2019.

Labbé made his Xfinity Series debut at Phoenix International Raceway in November 2016, driving the No. 90 Chevrolet for King Autosport and finishing 23rd. He built a long association with DGM Racing starting in 2018, running the No. 36 Camaro full-time. The pairing made him one of the more consistent mid-field competitors in the series, and he recorded a career highlight with a sixth-place finish at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval in September 2019 while running the No. 90 for DGM.

In 2020, Labbé incurred a significant penalty when NASCAR found he had driven an Xfinity car in a Sports Car Club of America practice session at Daytona ahead of an Xfinity race, violating the sanctioning body's testing policy. The penalty cost him and his No. 36 team 75 points each and the team a $50,000 fine. DGM appealed the ruling to the National Motorsports Appeals Panel, which ultimately rescinded the punishment.

He competed in a full 2021 season with DGM, recording three top-ten finishes and finishing nineteenth in points. In 2022 and 2023, Labbé ran a reduced schedule, driving for DGM, RSS Racing, Emerling-Gase Motorsports, and SS-Green Light Racing at various events.

Labbé's 2017 Pinty's Series championship remains the centrepiece of his career, demonstrating that he could compete for — and win — titles when equipment was well-matched to his abilities. His longevity in the Xfinity Series as a Canadian driver with limited sponsorship backing reflects persistence within a racing landscape dominated by better-funded American teams.

Labbé is among the most successful Canadian drivers in NASCAR's secondary series in the modern era, combining regional championships in his home province with years of experience in American competition. He has served as a pathway example for Canadian grassroots talent seeking to break into NASCAR's developmental ladder.
