Al Qubaisi was born in Washington, Virginia, to a family with deep motorsport roots. Her father Khaled competed at Le Mans and claimed two class podiums there. She attended Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, earning a degree in Records Management and Archival Science, and competed in karting for Daman Speed Academy.
Al Qubaisi began karting in 2014 at age fourteen, becoming the first Arab woman to participate at the Rotax Max Challenge World Finals. She subsequently became the first Arab girl to win the UAE Rotax Max Challenge Championship in 2017 and was selected by the ATCUAE to represent the UAE at the GCC Young Drivers Academy Programme, which she won. She also raced alongside her sister Hamda at the X30 Euro Series in Wackersdorf, where she finished sixteenth from 54 drivers and was the only female to reach the Final.
Al Qubaisi made her single-seater debut in the 2018 Italian F4 Championship with Prema Powerteam. She competed in six of the seven rounds, with a best race finish of twelfth. She returned the following season but scored no points across her results.
On 16 December 2018, Al Qubaisi became the first Middle Eastern woman to participate in a Formula E test session. The event followed the inaugural Diriyah ePrix in Saudi Arabia and was organized by the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission. She drove for Envision Virgin Racing in an Audi-powered car, on a street circuit in Saudi Arabia — a country that had only legally permitted women to drive six months earlier.
In 2022, Al Qubaisi stepped in to take her sister Hamda's place at the Barcelona round of the Formula Regional European Championship with Prema Racing, competing as a guest driver ineligible for points.
Al Qubaisi joined the inaugural F1 Academy season in 2023 with MP Motorsport. She scored two wins over the course of the campaign and placed sixth in the championship. For 2024, she re-signed with MP Motorsport and joined the Red Bull Academy Programme, representing RB Formula One Team. The season proved more difficult and she finished fifteenth. She also competed in the 2025 Ligier European Series alongside Hamda, with Team Virage in the number 88 entry.
In 2026, Al Qubaisi signed with Team Jebsen to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, becoming the first woman to compete in the series.
Al Qubaisi has consistently broken ground for women and Arabs in motorsport: the first Middle Eastern woman in a Formula E test, the first Arab girl to win the UAE Rotax Max Challenge, and eventually the first woman in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. Together with her sister Hamda, she represents a generational shift in the visibility and participation of Arab women in professional motorsport.
