Güven was introduced to racing at the age of four by his father, beginning with kart racing. He later competed in sim racing as a member of the Coanda Esports team before transitioning to circuit racing in earnest.
In 2017 Güven competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup France with Toksport WRT, finishing sixth. The following year he switched to Attempto Racing and won the 2018 Porsche Carrera Cup France title, adding the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux championship in the same season. Also in 2018 he represented Turkey alongside Salih Yoluç at the FIA GT Nations Cup — the predecessor to the FIA Motorsport Games — and won.
Güven defended his Carrera Cup France title in 2019 with Martinet by Alméras, taking five wins, six pole positions and ten podiums across twelve races to claim a second consecutive championship. In the 2019 Porsche Supercup he finished second overall and claimed his first Supercup victory in the fourth round at Silverstone from pole position.
In 2020, named a Junior Porsche Motorsport driver, Güven finished second in the Carrera Cup France and third in the Porsche Supercup with 113 points. In 2021 he moved to BWT Lechner Racing for the Supercup, finishing third, and placed second in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany with Phoenix-IronForce Racing, taking four wins and seven pole positions across the season.
In 2022 Güven entered the ADAC GT Masters paired with Christian Engelhart at Team Joos Sportwagentechnik, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R. The pair finished runner-up in the standings with 178 points, taking two wins at Hockenheim. Güven also made two DTM appearances that year for AlphaTauri AF Corse in a Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo, finishing seventh at the Norisring in his second start.
Güven joined KÜS Team Bernhard for a full 2023 DTM season with the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). He recorded one podium finish at the Sachsenring and set two fastest laps, finishing fifteenth in the championship. Alongside the DTM he won the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 title with DKR Engineering, sharing an Oreca 07 with Wayne Eastwood and Salih Yoluç across four rounds at Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In 2024 Güven won the Bathurst 12 Hour alongside Matt Campbell and Laurens Vanthoor for Manthey Racing. He also finished second overall in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with Manthey EMA, and second in the 2024 24 Hours of Nürburgring co-driven by Kévin Estre, Thomas Preining and Laurens Vanthoor. His full DTM season with Manthey EMA resulted in a sixteenth-place finish in the standings. Güven was elevated to FIA Platinum status for the 2024 season.
In 2025 Güven claimed the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters title with Manthey EMA, scoring 192 points across sixteen races with five victories and two fastest laps. His wins came at Oschersleben (Race 2), Zandvoort (Race 1), Sachsenring (Race 1), and two further rounds. He also finished second at the 2025 24 Hours of Nürburgring, again sharing with Kévin Estre and Thomas Preining.
In 2026 Güven is contesting the FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 class for Manthey DK Engineering, and the IMSA SportsCar Championship GTD Pro class with Manthey Racing.
