Bent Max Calvin Viscaal (born 18 September 1999 in Almelo, Netherlands) is a Dutch racing driver who progressed from junior single-seaters to international endurance racing. After reaching Formula 2, he pivoted to LMP2 sportscar competition, winning the 2022 ELMS Rookie of the Year award and going on to contest the FIA World Endurance Championship, Le Mans, and IMSA. He resides in the small Dutch town of Albergen and as of 2026 is head of procurement at his family's car sales company, Viscaal Fahrzeuggrosshandel GmbH.

Viscaal made his competitive debut in karting in 2010 in the Dutch Mini Juniors Championship. He won the Mini Junior class of the Euro Wintercup in 2011, and finished second in the Dutch KF3 Championship in 2012. After extending his karting programme to foreign events, particularly in Germany, he debuted in international karting at the European KF Junior Championship in 2014. In 2015 he won the German Junior Karting Championship. His final karting season was 2016, in which he finished sixth in the OK class of the CIK-FIA European Championship.

Viscaal moved to car racing in 2017, competing in both the SMP F4 Championship and the F4 Spanish Championship with MP Motorsport. In the SMP series he won four races and finished second overall with 218 points, behind Christian Lundgaard. In the Spanish championship he won five races and again finished second with 266 points, again behind Lundgaard.

In 2018 Viscaal joined Teo Martín Motorsport in the Euroformula Open Championship. In a season dominated by Felipe Drugovich, Viscaal finished second with 246 points after twelve podium finishes including a win at Silverstone. He won the rookie championship within the series. He also competed in the companion Spanish Formula 3 championship, finishing second to Drugovich there as well.

For 2019 Viscaal stepped up to the new FIA Formula 3 Championship with HWA Racelab. His best result was a fifth place at Circuit Paul Ricard; he ended the season fifteenth with ten points. At season's end he entered the MRF Challenge at Bahrain, winning two of four races. In 2020 Viscaal returned to FIA F3 with MP Motorsport. He scored his first championship podium at the Hungaroring and won a race at Silverstone after a last-lap battle with Lirim Zendeli, finishing thirteenth overall.

In 2021 Viscaal stepped up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Trident, alongside Marino Sato. He scored his first points with a fourth place at Baku — Trident's best result in the modern F2 era. At Monza he recovered from 18th on the grid to finish seventh in the first sprint race, then converted that into second place in the second sprint, giving Trident their first F2 podium. At Jeddah, describing the circuit as one of the best he had driven, Viscaal finished second in the feature race. He ended the season fourteenth with 34 points. He did not return to F2 the following year.

Viscaal moved to endurance racing in 2022, joining Algarve Pro Racing in the LMP2 class of the European Le Mans Series alongside Sophia Flörsch. Their all-silver lineup finished second on debut at Le Castellet. Despite struggling for consistent results in the second half of the season, Viscaal was named ELMS Rookie of the Year. His FIA driver rating was subsequently upgraded to FIA Gold.

Also in 2022 he made his FIA World Endurance Championship debut at Spa with ARC Bratislava, then raced with the team at Le Mans, where they briefly led the LMP2 Pro-Am subclass overnight before finishing sixth in the class.

In 2023 Viscaal joined Prema Racing for a full FIA WEC season in LMP2, sharing the No. 9 Oreca with Filip Ugran and rotating co-drivers Juan Manuel Correa and Andrea Caldarelli. The crew scored points in every round, with best results of fourth at Spa and fourth at Bahrain, finishing ninth in the standings. He also made stand-in appearances in the ELMS that year for Algarve Pro and Proton Competition.

In 2024 Viscaal joined Proton Competition for a full ELMS LMP2 Pro-Am campaign alongside René Binder and Giorgio Roda. The trio won the final round of the season, with Viscaal passing Alex Quinn on fuel saving on the last lap. They finished third in the Pro-Am standings.

In May 2024 it was announced that Viscaal would make his GTP debut in the IMSA SportsCar Championship at Laguna Seca, driving a Proton-fielded Porsche 963 alongside Gianmaria Bruni. He scored a best finish of fifth on two occasions across six IMSA starts that year.

In 2025 Viscaal returned to the ELMS with Proton in Pro-Am. The team's best result was second at Imola after a fight with Louis Delétraz in the final hour. They finished fifth in the standings. At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, Viscaal raced alongside Binder and Roda, finishing sixth in LMP2 and third in the Pro-Am subclass.
