Dystany Spurlock (born March 30, 1992, pronounced "destiny") is an American professional auto racing driver who competes across multiple disciplines, including NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle drag racing, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. In 2026 she became the first Black woman in history to compete in a NASCAR-sanctioned series, and in 2025 she became the second Black woman in NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle history.

Spurlock was born in Richmond, Virginia. Her interest in motorsports was sparked in childhood when her parents took her on motorcycle rides, and she spent Sundays watching NASCAR on television. A formative moment came at age 12 when her godfather took her to her first drag racing event, igniting a career in motorcycle competition. Before entering professional racing, she worked for three years as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines and also worked as a truck driver. Spurlock played football in middle school and high school.

Since July 2024, she has served on the Board of Directors of the African American Automotive Association, an organization advocating for diversity across the automotive industry.

Spurlock began competing in motorcycle drag racing at the age of 17. She built her credentials over many years in grassroots competition before attracting broader attention with a landmark performance on October 5, 2024, at an XDA Motorcycle Drag Racing Series event: she set simultaneous track, series, and world records in the Real Street class with a 7.32-second pass at 178 mph, becoming the first woman in history to win that class.

In 2025, competing in partnership with Arana Racing, Spurlock entered the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle class at the American Rebel Light Virginia NHRA Nationals on June 20, becoming only the second Black woman ever to compete in that class. She also competed at the U.S. Nationals that year.

In 2023, Spurlock completed the Skip Barber Racing School curriculum and graduated to its Formula 4 series, finishing 13th in the final championship standings.

In 2026, Spurlock made her debut in the ARCA Menards Series East, driving the No. 66 Chevrolet for MBM Motorsports at Hickory Motor Speedway. She became the first Black woman in history to compete in a NASCAR-sanctioned racing series. At Hickory she finished seventh on the lead lap, and subsequently raced at Rockingham Speedway (12th) and in the main ARCA Menards Series event at Kansas Speedway (10th).

On April 30, 2026, it was announced that Spurlock would attempt her debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Watkins Glen International, driving the No. 69 Toyota Tundra for MBM Motorsports. Additional races in the ARCA Menards Series were also planned for later in the year.

Spurlock has additionally competed in the Lexus 0-60 challenge and various indoor arena car circuits, and entered the Paramount Kia Big 10 Challenge at Hickory Motor Speedway as preparation for her ARCA debut.

Spurlock's career represents a series of firsts for Black women in American motorsport across three distinct disciplines โ€” motorcycle drag racing, open-wheel Formula 4, and NASCAR-sanctioned stock car racing. Her trajectory from grassroots motorcycle competition to multiple national-level racing programs reflects both the breadth of her ambition and the widening pathways for underrepresented drivers in American motorsport.
