Filip-Ioan Ugran (born 12 September 2002 in Târgu Mureș, Romania) is a Romanian racing driver who progressed from karting through Formula 4 and Formula 3 before building a career in European endurance racing. He holds FIA Gold driver categorisation from 2025 and has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship, the European Le Mans Series, and GT championships.

Ugran entered competitive motorsport in karting in 2016 and remained active until 2018, taking part in the WSK Super Master Series, WSK Final Cup, and the CIK-FIA International Super Cup across OKJ, OK, and KZ2 classes. He also competed in the 2016 CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, finishing 38th.

Ugran made his car racing debut in 2019 with BVM Racing in the Italian F4 Championship. He scored a single point — from a tenth place at Monza — to finish 26th in the standings from 21 starts. As a guest driver he also appeared at the ADAC Formula 4 round at Hockenheimring (14th in both races) and at the F4 Spanish Championship season finale at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with Jenzer Motorsport, where he finished on the podium in all three races with two second places and a third, though as a non-championship entrant he received no points.

In 2020 Ugran returned to Italian F4 with Jenzer Motorsport and delivered a significantly stronger campaign. He won at Imola during the second round, accumulated five podiums over the season, and finished eighth in the standings with 133 points. He also competed as a guest at the F4 Spanish Championship round at Circuit Paul Ricard, winning two races and taking a second place to finish tenth in the standings despite competing in only that single event.

For 2021 Ugran joined the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport. The season was challenging; he scored no points and finished 31st in the drivers' standings. A best individual race result of 15th place at Zandvoort came in the penultimate round. An apparent 12th place finish in race two at Zandvoort was later voided after stewards found him guilty of a collision with Jonny Edgar.

Ugran did not secure a full-time drive for 2022 after post-season testing with Jenzer, Charouz Racing System, and Van Amersfoort Racing. He did return to the championship for the Silverstone round as a substitute for Alexander Smolyar, whose visa prevented him from racing in the United Kingdom. Ugran finished 23rd and 18th in the two races before returning the seat.

Alongside his 2022 FIA F3 appearance, Ugran competed in the Euroformula Open Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing. He took a podium with third place at the Paul Ricard round and was ninth in the standings when Van Amersfoort Racing withdrew from the series mid-season with immediate effect, leaving Ugran without a drive and ending his single-seater career.

Ugran joined sports prototype competition in the second half of 2022, entering two rounds of the European Le Mans Series with Algarve Pro Racing in an Oreca 07-Gibson in the LMP2 category alongside Bent Viscaal. He finished eighth and fifth in his two rounds and was classified 17th in the series standings.

For 2023 Ugran moved to the FIA World Endurance Championship with Prema Racing, driving alongside Bent Viscaal and Andrea Caldarelli in LMP2. His best individual results were a fourth place at Spa-Francorchamps — where he made a strong start before Caldarelli was passed on older tyres while running third — and a fourth place in Bahrain. At his 24 Hours of Le Mans debut his car became stuck in a runoff area and was later hit from behind, resulting in a thirty-minute repair; the team nonetheless finished tenth. Ugran ended his rookie WEC season tenth in the LMP2 standings with 57 points.

In 2024 he moved to United Autosports for the European Le Mans Series, partnering Ben Hanley and Marino Sato in the No. 22 Oreca 07. The season opened with the team's first endurance podium, a third place at the 4 Hours of Barcelona. A fifth place followed at Le Castellet before results dipped, and the team finished tenth in the standings with 29 points.

Ugran competed in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe in 2024 with Ombra Racing, finishing 17th in the Pro class. In 2025 he drove for Oregon Team in the International GT Open with a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2, partnering Robin Rogalski in the No. 19 car, finishing 58th in the overall standings.

For 2026, carrying FIA Gold categorisation, Ugran contests three championships simultaneously: the Porsche Supercup with Ombra Racing in the No. 20 car — he opened the season with an 18th place at Monaco; the Italian GT Championship Endurance Cup with BMW Italia and Ceccato Racing; and the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy.
