IDEC Sport Racing, commonly referred to as IDEC Sport, is a French sports car racing team founded in 2015 from the foundations of Ruffier Racing. The team is led by Patrice Lafargue, president of the IDEC Group real estate company, and has built a consistent record in LMP2 endurance racing, winning the 2019 European Le Mans Series title and twice claiming class pole position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The team began racing GT3 cars in the 24H Series before transitioning to sports prototypes with the acquisition of a Ligier LMP2 and a Mercedes AMG GT3. In 2017 IDEC made its 24 Hours of Le Mans debut, with the team's No.17 car — shared by Patrice Lafargue and his son Paul — finishing twelfth overall. That result confirmed the team's competitive baseline and led to a two-car programme in 2018, entering both an Oreca and the Ligier in the European Le Mans Series and at Le Mans.

Paul-Loup Chatin, one of the strongest LMP2 pilots of his generation, became central to IDEC's identity for much of the team's history. In 2018 Chatin took LMP2 pole position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans — the team's first class pole at the Circuit de la Sarthe — though a mechanical failure ended the car's race. The trio of Paul Lafargue, Chatin, and Memo Rojas finished third in the 2018 ELMS standings.

In 2019 IDEC Sport contested the ELMS with only its Oreca No.28, now with full focus concentrated on a single car. The gamble proved correct: Lafargue, Chatin, and Rojas won the ELMS LMP2 title, giving the team its first European championship.

During the 2020 Le Mans, despite starting a lap behind the rest of the field, the No.28 recovered to sixth in LMP2 and tenth overall, with the No.17 finishing eleventh in LMP2. In subsequent seasons the team maintained ELMS involvement alongside participation in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in LMP3. At the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans the team again claimed LMP2 class pole position, its second at the circuit.

In 2024, in the team's eighth Le Mans participation, IDEC Sport secured third place overall on the podium in LMP2. The year 2025 saw a third-place finish in the ELMS standings. Nicolas Minassian, a former Peugeot Sport factory driver with nine wins in the 908 and 17 Le Mans starts, joined IDEC in 2018 and became team principal, bringing significant endurance expertise to the organisation.

Although the IDEC Group's corporate colour is red, the team has raced in the colours of classic French automotive brands including Delage and Matra. More recently IDEC Sport collaborated with Genesis Magma Racing's LMDh programme. The team relocated to new premises in Signes, in the Var region adjacent to the Paul Ricard circuit, at the end of 2023.

Paul Lafargue — son of team president Patrice — is considered one of the stronger Silver-rated LMP2 drivers on the ELMS grid, accumulating eight Le Mans starts and the 2019 championship. Paul-Loup Chatin, after seven seasons with IDEC from 2017 to 2023, became an Alpine factory driver in the WEC Hypercar category but maintained a dual programme with IDEC in ELMS in 2025. Job van Uitert, Dutch and holder of an ELMS LMP3 title, joined as the team's second-stint Pro driver, with five Le Mans starts and the 2024 podium on his record.
