Baldwin began his racing career in karting at the age of eight. Between 2013 and 2014, he won three DMAX National Championships at Daytona Motorsport.
In 2015, Baldwin transitioned to Formula Ford, competing in four races. Despite limited track time and mechanical issues, he was unable to secure the funding needed to continue in motorsport and shifted his focus to sim racing. This change offered him opportunities to compete in professional events with prize money available. His success in sim racing led to an invitation to Season 2 of World's Fastest Gamer in 2019.
Baldwin won the 2019 World's Fastest Gamer competition, earning a $1 million sponsorship and a drive with Jenson Team Rocket RJN for the 2020 British GT Championship. Partnering with Michael O'Brien in a McLaren 720S GT3, he won on his debut at Oulton Park. The pair secured three further podiums and three pole positions throughout the season, finishing fourth overall and third in the Silver Cup. In 2021, Baldwin was announced as a BRDC Rising Star.
In 2022, Baldwin participated in the 24 Hours of Spa with Garage 59, qualifying 26th overall and 5th in the Silver Cup class. He also competed in the 2024 24 Hours of Spa with Garage 59, finishing 38th overall and 11th in the Bronze Cup. He followed this with a retirement at Monza due to a gearbox failure, before achieving his first GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup podium at Jeddah, finishing 22nd overall and 3rd in the Bronze Cup. In 2025, he joined the British GT Championship commentary team.
Baldwin’s participation in the 2022 24 Hours of Spa ended with a radiator problem on lap 227, preventing a finish. At the 2024 24 Hours of Spa, the team finished 38th overall and 11th in the Bronze Cup. At the Nürburgring in 2025, Baldwin, alongside Tom Fleming and Guilherme Oliveira, initially finished 10th overall and 1st in Silver Cup, but were later demoted to 18th overall and 2nd in class due to a ten-second penalty for a safety car infringement.
Baldwin has achieved multiple championships in the Assetto Corsa Competizione video game, including the 2021 British GT Esports Championship, the 2022 Alpine Esports Series, the 2022 Mobileye Intercontinental GT Challenge, and two SRO Esports titles in 2021 and 2022. He also won a gold medal in the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games Esports Cup, representing the United Kingdom. He won the 2019 eROC Invitational Event, gaining entry to the 2019 Race of Champions, where he won the eROC World Final. He then won the 2020 Race of Champions Nations Cup as part of Team All Stars.
Baldwin competed in the inaugural season of Rennsport R1 with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team, alongside Graham Carroll, Bono Huis, and Marko Pejic. He also signed for Alfa Romeo as a third driver for the 2019 Formula One Esports Series, and later moved to McLaren for the 2020 season.
