Andlauer was born in Lyon, France, on 5 July 1999.
Andlauer began his racing career in karting before moving to the French F4 Championship in 2015, where he achieved two podiums and finished eighth overall. He transitioned to the Porsche Carrera Cup France in 2016, finishing fifth in the standings with Saintéloc Racing. In 2017, driving for Martinet by Alméras, Andlauer won seven races to claim the French title. This success led to him becoming a Porsche junior driver after impressing at a talent shootout at the Lausitzring.
As a Porsche junior, Andlauer progressed to the Porsche Supercup in 2018, remaining with Martinet by Alméras. He secured wins at the season-ending round in Mexico City and finished fourth in the standings. During the same year, he made his debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship, competing in the LMGTE Am category for Dempsey-Proton Racing alongside Matt Campbell and Christian Ried. The trio won their class at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Following a disqualification at Fuji for data manipulation, which resulted in the loss of points from the first four WEC races, Andlauer and his team secured victories at Shanghai and Sebring. He missed the 2019 Spa event but returned for the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing fourth. His performances earned him a promotion to gold ranking by the FIA from 2019 onwards.
In 2019, Andlauer competed in both the Porsche Supercup and the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, driving for BWT Lechner Racing. He won the German championship with five victories and finished third in the Supercup with two wins. At the end of the year, Porsche promoted him from junior driver to young professional status.
In 2020, Andlauer competed in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Pzoberer Zürichsee by TFT alongside Nicolas Leutwiler, finishing third in the standings with wins in Le Castellet and Monza. After finishing second in the Asian Le Mans Series at the beginning of 2021, he continued in the MLMC with Pzoberer Zürichsee and Leutwiler, and also returned to the GTE Am class of the WEC with Dempsey-Proton Racing for four rounds, including another appearance at Le Mans where he scored pole in his class. He helped Leutwiler to two victories in the Le Mans Cup, including a win at the Road to Le Mans event.
A scattered 2022 campaign saw Andlauer competing in individual events such as the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, 24 Hours of Spa, and 24 Hours of Nürburgring, as well as racing in numerous NLS Series races. He also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, setting the fastest lap of the race and finishing second with WeatherTech Racing.
For 2023, Andlauer returned to Proton Competition’s WEC operations on a full-time basis, partnering Christian Ried and Mikkel O. Pedersen, and also drove for the team in the European Le Mans Series with Ried and Giammarco Levorato. The WEC season included a second-place finish at Sebring and a win at Monza, helping the team to finish fourth in the standings. In the ELMS, a crash at Barcelona cost the team the championship by 20 points despite three podiums, including wins at Le Castellet and the Algarve.
During the post-season, Andlauer made his prototype debut in the LMP2 class of the AsLMS, driving alongside René Binder and Giorgio Roda at Proton, achieving a podium in Sepang and narrowly missing victory at Dubai. He finished second at the season finale in Abu Dhabi, securing a runner-up spot in the standings.
Following this debut, Porsche elevated Andlauer to the top class of the WEC for the 2024 season, as part of Proton’s Hypercar lineup with Harry Tincknell and Neel Jani. He also competed in the ELMS, driving in the LMGT3 category alongside Matteo Cressoni and Claudio Schiavoni. At the 6 Hours of Spa, Andlauer performed four overtakes at the Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex and set the fastest race lap, leading Proton to a fifth-place finish.
Andlauer has competed in a variety of events outside of his primary series commitments, including the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, 24 Hours of Spa, and 24 Hours of Nürburgring. He also participated in numerous NLS Series races.
