Justin William Lofton (born February 18, 1986) is an American professional racing driver best known as the 2009 ARCA Series champion and a three-time overall winner of the Best in the Desert Mint 400. He built his career across oval stock car racing before transitioning primarily to off-road competition, where he became one of the prominent Trophy Truck competitors in the United States.

Lofton began his motorsport career in mountain biking before progressing to late models and then the NASCAR regional ladder. He ran in both the NASCAR Camping World East and West Series before landing in the ARCA Re/Max Series full-time in 2008 with Eddie Sharp Racing, first in the No. 93 and later the No. 20. He earned his first career ARCA win that year at Michigan International Speedway and finished 13th in the standings.

In 2009, his sophomore ARCA season, Lofton narrowly claimed the series championship over Parker Kligerman. He won six races, added fifteen top-five and nineteen top-ten finishes, and took five poles across the campaign. He also made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut that year at Michigan, qualifying 19th and finishing 16th driving the No. 14 Lofton Cattle Toyota for CJM Racing.

Lofton moved to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2010, driving the No. 7 VisitPIT.com Toyota for Red Horse Racing alongside a partial Nationwide Series schedule. His best qualifying effort that season came at Darlington and he recorded a best finish of third at Dover, ending 12th in the Truck Series standings with four top-fives and eight top-tens.

For 2011, Lofton joined Germain Racing to pilot the No. 77 truck, but the partnership ended after the Texas round. He announced on June 22 that he would return to Eddie Sharp Racing, debuting back with the team at Kentucky Speedway in the No. 46 and later returning to the No. 6 — the same number with which he had won the 2009 ARCA title.

Lofton ran the full 2012 season for Eddie Sharp Racing in the No. 6. On May 18, 2012 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, he captured his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, holding off Brad Keselowski and Todd Bodine at the line.

After the 2012 NASCAR season Lofton announced he would scale back his oval commitments and shift focus to Stadium Super Trucks, the series being promoted by Robby Gordon. In his debut Stadium Super Trucks season he collected three wins and finished third in the standings behind Gordon and Rob MacCachren. He also competed at select rounds in 2014, including St. Petersburg, X Games Austin, and Las Vegas.

Lofton subsequently built a reputation as one of the most competitive Trophy Truck drivers in Best in the Desert racing. He won the Mint 400 overall and in the Trick Truck class in 2015, 2016, and again in 2019, demonstrating sustained elite-level performance across a multi-year span in desert off-road competition. He campaigns a Trophy Truck sponsored by Fox and Yokohama Tires.

Lofton returned to oval competition for the first time since 2014 when he made a West Series start at Phoenix in November 2020, driving for Rette Jones Racing in the No. 30 Ford and finishing sixth. He has subsequently made occasional part-time appearances in the ARCA Menards Series West.

Lofton represents a cohort of American oval drivers who successfully transitioned into off-road and desert racing. His three Mint 400 overall victories establish him as a genuine force in Best in the Desert Trophy Truck competition, while his 2009 ARCA championship and 2012 Truck Series win at Charlotte remain the defining achievements of his oval career.
