The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO is a customer GT3 racing car developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Dallara, representing an evolution of the original Huracán GT3 introduced in 2015. Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine, the Evo variant was introduced for the 2019 season with upgraded power output and revised aerodynamic packaging, and it became one of the most successful GT3 machines of the late 2010s and early 2020s before the introduction of the Huracán GT3 Evo 2 in 2023.

The Lamborghini Huracán road car debuted at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, replacing the Gallardo and carrying forward the marque's 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine inherited from the facelifted Gallardo, tuned to 610 PS in road trim. From that platform, Lamborghini and Dallara co-developed a GT3 racing variant to FIA GT3 regulations.

The original Huracán GT3, introduced in 2015, made its racing debut at the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at Monza, where Grasser Racing Team secured an immediate class victory. The car produced 520 PS from the detuned V10, weighed 1,230 kg, and quickly established itself as a competitive customer racing machine across European and North American GT3 championships.

The Huracán GT3 Evo succeeded the original GT3 for the 2019 season, featuring an upgraded version of the 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 with output raised to 580 PS and 488 Nm of torque, while the weight reduced marginally to 1,229 kg. Aerodynamic and chassis updates refined the car's balance and driveability for customer teams.

The GT3 Evo made its racing debut at the 2019 24 Hours of Daytona, the opening round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, where the Grasser Racing Team entry took GTD class victory. The No. 11 Huracán GT3 Evo was driven by Mirko Bortolotti, Rik Breukers, Christian Engelhart, and Rolf Ineichen. The same pairing also won the GTD class at the 2019 12 Hours of Sebring, the second round of the championship, with a Magnus Racing Evo taking second place. Paul Miller Racing also secured a GTD victory later in the 2019 WeatherTech season at Laguna Seca.

In the 2019 Blancpain GT Series, FFF Racing Team, with Lamborghini Squadra Corse support and drivers Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli, won the overall championship — Lamborghini's second overall title in the series in three seasons.

The Huracán GT3 programme built on the original car's major milestone of 28 January 2018, when the No. 11 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 of Grasser Racing Team won the GTD class at the 24 Hours of Daytona — the first time Lamborghini had won a 24-hour race in its history. The No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Huracán GT3 subsequently captured the GTD drivers', teams', and manufacturers' championships in the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech season.

Earlier, in the 2017 Blancpain GT Series, Grasser Racing Team with factory drivers Andrea Caldarelli, Mirko Bortolotti, and Christian Engelhart won the championship, with overall victories in Endurance Cup rounds at Monza and Silverstone and a Sprint Cup win at Brands Hatch. FFF Racing Team also won the 2018 Blancpain GT Series Asia with Martin Kodric and Dennis Lind.

The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO is one of the featured GT3 machines in Assetto Corsa Competizione, the official GT World Challenge simulation developed by Kunos Simulazioni. Its inclusion reflects its competitive presence in the SRO-sanctioned Blancpain GT Series and GT World Challenge Europe during the period the game covers. In sim racing, the Huracán GT3 EVO is prized for its naturally aspirated character — the linear power delivery of the V10 contrasts with turbocharged competitors and rewards smooth throttle application through corners. The car's rear-biased weight distribution and mechanical grip require precise braking and rotation techniques, particularly on medium- and high-speed corners.

Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán GT3 Evo 2 in 2022, with styling cues from the Huracán STO road car and a new intake system and aerodynamic package. The Evo 2 made its competition debut at the 2023 24 Hours of Daytona, where the Iron Lynx No. 63 machine finished fourth in GTD Pro class. The Evo 2 went on to considerable international success, including Mirko Bortolotti winning the 2024 DTM title with SSR Performance — marking Lamborghini's first DTM drivers' championship and the first title by an Italian driver with an Italian manufacturer since Nicola Larini won the 1994 DTM with Alfa Romeo. The GT3 Evo, as represented in ACC, remains the definitive version of the mid-generation Huracán racing programme.
