Larry ten Voorde (born 2 October 1996, in Enschede) is a Dutch racing driver who has won three Porsche Supercup championships – in 2020, 2021, and 2024 – and three Porsche Carrera Cup Germany titles, achieved in 2020, 2021, and 2023. He currently competes in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for Schumacher CLRT.

Ten Voorde began his motorsport career in karting, winning the German Rotax Max Challenge in various age categories. He transitioned to car racing in 2013, competing in the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC series for Van Amersfoort Racing.

In 2013, racing for Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC series, ten Voorde secured a pole position in the opening two rounds. He later moved to B&W Motorsport, achieving five podiums, including his maiden win at a red-flagged Zandvoort event, finishing fourth in the standings. He assisted teammate Roy Geerts in winning the season’s title, allowing him to take the lead on the final lap of the final race. He continued in the series in 2014, but an early double podium at Zandvoort and a pair of poles at Zolder were the only highlights of a season he did not complete.

After a year away from racing in 2015 due to budgetary constraints, ten Voorde returned to motorsport in 2016, winning the Porsche Super Sports Cup. He also made his Porsche Supercup debut at Spa-Francorchamps, finishing eighth. This led to a full-time drive in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany for Team Project 1 in 2017, where he finished fifth overall and first in the rookie standings, securing one win at the Nürburgring and five podiums.

In 2018, ten Voorde continued in PCCG and added a Porsche Supercup campaign. He finished third in PCCG with six podiums, and tenth in the Supercup with a best result of fourth at Silverstone). The 2019 season saw him switch to MRS GT-Racing in the Supercup and Overdrive Racing by Huber in PCCG. He achieved his first Supercup victory at Monza, finishing fourth overall in the championship with five podiums. In PCCG, despite early wins, retirements at the Norisring and Zandvoort resulted in a third-place finish overall, behind Michael Ammermüller and Julien Andlauer.

Ten Voorde joined Team Project 1 in the LMGTE Am class of the FIA World Endurance Championship at the end of 2019, achieving a second-place finish at Shanghai and a victory in Bahrain. He continued with the team in 2020, securing another victory at Bahrain and finishing third in the drivers’ standings. 2020 also marked a dominant season in both the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and the Porsche Supercup. He won the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, landing on the podium in all eleven races and winning four of them. His Supercup campaign with Team GP Elite was a hard-fought battle with Dylan Pereira, culminating in a decisive victory for ten Voorde at Monza, securing his first Supercup title.

The 2021 season continued this success, with ten Voorde winning three of the opening four Supercup races, including the prestigious Circuit de Monaco. He clinched the Supercup title with a race to spare, adding another victory at Monza to cap off his season. He also dominated the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, winning half of the 16 races and securing the title one race early.

At the 2022 Red Bull Ring Supercup round, a collision with Marvin Klein hampered ten Voorde’s title aspirations, ultimately finishing second to Dylan Pereira. In the 2023 Silverstone) IMSA SportsCar Championship race, ten Voorde was forced to retire following a multi-car collision at the start.

In 2023, ten Voorde competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy with Enrico Fulgenzi Racing, winning five races and finishing on the podium two further times to claim the championship despite missing two rounds. He also made his debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona with MDK Motorsports in 2024, finishing 12th in the GTD class.

Ten Voorde’s three Porsche Supercup titles and three Porsche Carrera Cup Germany titles demonstrate consistent success within the Porsche motorsport ladder. His 2024 Supercup win, beating Harry King by 23 points, highlights his continued competitiveness. He announced that the 2024 Supercup season would be his last in the series.
