Nikita Vyacheslavovich Bedrin (born 6 January 2006 in Belgorod, Russia) is a Russian-Italian racing driver competing in the GB3 Championship with VRD Racing. He is a member of the DS Penske Driver Development Program in Formula E, and rose through the junior single-seater ranks with multiple Formula 4 titles and podiums in the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

Born in Belgorod, Russia, Bedrin began his competitive career in domestic karting, winning the Russian Karting Championship twice before relocating to Italy to contest the more competitive European karting scene. He won the Italian Karting Championship in 2019 and claimed the WSK Super Master Series title in 2020, his final year in karts, while also finishing fourth in the European Championship that same year.

Bedrin made his single-seater debut in 2021 in the Formula 4 UAE Championship with Xcel Motorsport, scoring his first podium with a third place before a hand injury ended his campaign early. His main programme that year was with Van Amersfoort Racing in the Italian F4 and ADAC F4 series, where he partnered Ollie Bearman, Joshua Dufek, Bence Válint, and Han Cenyu. In Italy, a triple of podiums at Imola — including a race victory awarded after Bearman's disqualification for a technical infringement — highlighted his season, with a further third at Mugello leaving him eighth overall. In Germany he scored two podiums in the opening rounds, took a first win at Hockenheim, and claimed another victory during the Nürburgring finale to finish fifth overall. He took the rookie title in both Italian F4 and ADAC F4.

Returning to Formula 4 UAE with PHM Racing alongside Taylor Barnard and Jonas Ried, Bedrin took two wins — one each in Dubai and Abu Dhabi — to finish fourth in the standings. He remained with PHM for Italian F4 and ADAC F4. In Italy he took two podiums but an inconsistent closing run left him twelfth. In ADAC F4 he finished fourth overall with six podiums, his sole win coming at a rain-affected Lausitzring.

Bedrin returned to Formula 4 UAE in 2024 with PHM Racing. He won the second race of the opening round at Yas Marina with a late pass on Jack Beeton, then closed out the three-round campaign with a double victory at Dubai Autodrome. Despite missing the remaining two rounds, he placed fifth in the standings with three wins, four podiums, and 124 points.

After a post-season test with Jenzer Motorsport in September 2022, Bedrin was signed for the 2023 FIA Formula 3 season. He scored his first championship point with tenth in the Barcelona sprint race, then claimed his first FIA F3 podium with third in the Hungaroring sprint, where he led for seven laps before being passed by Gabriele Minì and Gabriel Bortoleto on the final lap. A further podium in Belgium, where he capitalised on a wet-tyre strategy, meant he ended the season eighteenth overall with 24 points.

Bedrin joined AIX Racing for 2024, partnering Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak and Joshua Dufek. After a difficult opening in Bahrain and early incidents, he delivered a breakthrough performance in the Silverstone feature race and then took his first Formula 3 victory in the Hungary sprint race, leading from the opening lap to give AIX Racing their first win in the category. He finished the season nineteenth overall with 25 points, ahead of both teammates.

Bedrin's trajectory — dual karting champion, double F4 rookie title, first F3 victory for his team — established him as one of the leading Russian-Italian prospects in European junior motorsport. His DS Penske Formula E development programme affiliation points toward an eventual transition to electric single-seater racing at the highest level.
