Hendrik Johannes Nicasius "Nyck" de Vries (born 6 February 1995) is a Dutch racing driver who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Toyota and in Formula E for Mahindra Racing. In Formula One, de Vries competed at 11 Grands Prix from 2022 to 2023. He won the 2020–21 Formula E World Championship with Mercedes-EQ.

De Vries was born on 6 February 1995 in Uitwellingerga, Friesland, Netherlands. He began competitive kart racing aged nine. He won the WSK World Series for the KF3 category and the German Junior Championship in 2008, retained both titles in 2009, and also won the European KF3 Championship that year. He won the Karting World Championship in September 2010 and again in 2011.
