Taupo International Motorsport Park and Events Centre is a motorsport facility located on Broadlands Road in Taupō, New Zealand. Currently owned by Tony Quinn, who also owns Highlands Motorsport Park and Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, it is one of the country's most comprehensively equipped permanent circuits, offering multiple track configurations, a dragstrip, and extensive corporate facilities.

The site's origins lie in a 1.398 km Taupo Car Club circuit. A major redevelopment completed in 2006 replaced it with a new 3.500 km international layout at a cost of NZ$13 million. The rebuilt circuit quickly attracted international sanctioned racing, hosting rounds of the A1 Grand Prix Series in January 2007, January 2008, and January 2009. A tighter chicane was introduced for the 2007–08 season to create more overtaking opportunities, and the 2009 event switched from a rolling start to a standing start for the Sprint race following incidents at the tight S-bend near the start.

The circuit received a Silver Award from the Association of Consulting Engineers New Zealand in recognition of the quality of the design and construction process. However, by May 2008, the venue had accumulated NZ$3 million in debt, and the operators sought external equity to sustain the business.

On 26 November 2015, the circuit was renamed Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park as a tribute to the late New Zealand Formula One driver and constructor founder Bruce McLaren (1937–1970). The renaming coincided with announced plans to rebuild sections of the circuit to maintain its FIA Grade 2 homologation. In November 2021, Tony Quinn acquired the facility and the name reverted to Taupo International Motorsport Park.

In January 2026, the circuit hosted the Giltrap Group Taupo Historic Grand Prix, with the A1GP car Black Beauty driven by Johnny Reid as the headline attraction.

Taupo International Motorsport Park's main international layout runs to 3.500 km, with four alternative configurations measuring 3.400 km, 3.321 km, 2.200 km, and 1.300 km respectively. The circuit holds licences ranging from National Grade 1 through FIA Grade 2 and International Motorcycling Safety Standards, depending on the configuration in use.

The facility also features a dedicated dragstrip built to NHRA standards at 830 metres in length and 17 metres in width, with capacity viewing for 10,000 spectators. A three-storey pit lane complex with 32 ground-floor pit garages is part of the facility's infrastructure, alongside 13 first-floor corporate suites and a second-floor race control, corporate, and catering complex.

Driver A1 Team Ireland's Adam Carroll, who raced at the circuit during the A1 Grand Prix era, described the track as having few bumps with a technical and tight character.

The unofficial all-time track record is 1:14.072, set by Nico Hülkenberg during qualifying for the 2006–07 A1 Grand Prix of Nations, New Zealand.

Taupo International Motorsport Park represents New Zealand's investment in purpose-built permanent circuit infrastructure for the twenty-first century. Its transformation from a club-level facility to an FIA Grade 2 venue capable of hosting international series reflects the broader professionalisation of New Zealand motorsport. Under Tony Quinn's ownership alongside Highlands and Hampton Downs, it forms part of a network of high-quality circuits that have strengthened New Zealand's standing as a destination for international racing series.
