Veilside Co., Ltd. is a Japanese aftermarket automotive company founded in 1990 and based near the Tsukuba Circuit in Japan, producing suspension tuning parts, engine performance components, interior modifications, and most prominently full aerodynamic body kits for Japanese and international performance cars. The company is best known internationally for the Fortune body kit for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, which gained global cultural recognition through repeated appearances in the Fast and Furious film franchise.

The company name derives from the name of its founder and owner, Hironao Yokomaku. "Yoko" translates to "side" and "maku" translates to "veil," which were combined to form VeilSide โ€” stylised in the company's official branding with an internal capital S. Yokomaku cited the 1960s Batmobile as a design influence, a reference that helped establish the dramatic, visually transformative character that would define the company's most recognisable products.

VeilSide opened for business in 1990 with an initial focus on performance tuning. At the 1991 Tokyo Auto Salon, the company won the Grand Prize in the Tuned Car category, establishing early credibility in Japan's specialist tuner scene. In 1994 VeilSide released the Supra Combat design, which earned the Grand Prize at the Tokyo Auto Salon in the Complete Car category, further consolidating the company's reputation.

In July 1995, VeilSide received authorisation from Japan's Ministry of Transportation for the production, distribution, and sale of a range of aerodynamic parts. This regulatory approval allowed the company to expand its catalogue significantly, moving from individual performance components to a comprehensive product range covering full body kits, wheels, and interior modifications.

VeilSide's aerodynamic parts catalogue was originally oriented around Japanese domestic market models including the Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7, Subaru Impreza, and Mitsubishi FTO. The range was subsequently extended to cover American and European models as international demand grew.

The flagship product is the Fortune body kit, a comprehensive package that replaces every exterior body panel except the roof. The Fortune kit was developed for several models: the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, the Toyota Supra Mark IV, the Acura NSX, the Toyota MR-S, and the Nissan Skyline V35 and V36. Pricing for the Fortune kit has ranged from approximately 4,500 USD for the MR-S version to 15,000 USD for the RX-7 variant. A notable feature of the Skyline Fortune kits is that they convert the Nissan Skyline body into an Infiniti G body form.

VeilSide also produced its own wheel brand, VeilSide Andrew Racing Wheels, offered in three designs: the Andrew Evolution V in 18-inch and 19-inch sizes, the Andrew Golt Dish in 18-inch, and the Andrew Dish in 18-inch. All three designs were listed as discontinued by January 2006.

Beyond body modifications, VeilSide manufactures aerodynamic wing mirrors, GT-style wing spoilers, and its own clothing line. The company has also competed in time attack, drag racing, and drifting events including the D1 Grand Prix using factory cars built on its own products.

VeilSide's international profile was substantially elevated by the Fast and Furious franchise. Products appeared in The Fast and the Furious in 2001, 2 Fast 2 Furious in 2003, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006, Fast and Furious in 2009, Fast Five in 2011, and Fast and Furious 6 in 2013. The most prominent of these appearances was the orange Fortune-kitted Mazda RX-7 FD3S driven by the character Han in Tokyo Drift, which became one of the most widely recognised individual builds in the global automotive enthusiast community and introduced VeilSide's visual approach to an audience far larger than the specialist Japanese tuner market.
