Robichon grew up in Canada and developed his passion for motorsport through his father, who raced Formula cars in the 1970s and 1980s. He began karting at the age of 14, and in 2009 entered a full season of competition in the Canadian National Karting Championships in the Rotax Senior class. In September 2011 he won the third annual Hinchtown.com Canadian Karting Award, a prize sponsored by IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe that included a fully-paid race licensing course at the Bridgestone Racing Academy.
After competing for Canada at the Formula Ford Festival, Robichon moved to single-seaters, racing in the Toyo Tires Formula Tour 1600 and the Ontario-based Toyo Tires F1600 Championship Series in 2014 alongside two F2000 Championship Series starts. He posted one win and three podiums in F1600 that season, and claimed the Can-Am Cup in a photo finish at the final round, catching leader Tristan DeGrand at the last corner of the last lap and out-dragging him to the line. In 2015 he joined Brian Graham Racing and finished second overall in the F1600 Championship Series with three wins, eight podiums, and five poles in eight starts. Notably, Robichon also worked as an engineer and mechanic for other drivers during this period.
Robichon moved to sportscars in 2016, joining Mark Motors Racing in Ottawa for the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Canada series. He finished third overall in his debut season with two wins and ten podiums in twelve starts, and added a podium in a pair of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA starts. He returned with Mark Motors in 2017, finishing second overall with two wins and eleven podiums. In 2018 Robichon dominated the series, winning the title with eleven wins, twelve podiums, and nine poles in twelve starts. Mid-season he received an emergency call to replace an absent driver for Moorespeed at Road America in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA, swept both races that weekend, and went on to claim seven wins and eight poles in eight starts for that team across 2018.
Robichon joined Pfaff Motorsports for the 2019 IMSA SportsCar Championship, partnering with fellow Canadian Scott Hargrove in the GTD class in a Porsche 911 GT3 R. The pair finished third overall in the standings, taking wins at the Northeast Grand Prix and the Road Race Showcase at Road America.
The 2020 season was curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Border restrictions between Canada and the United States severely limited Pfaff's ability to contest a full campaign, with Robichon appearing in only two races. His full-time teammates that year were Lars Kern and Dennis Olsen, with Patrick Pilet joining for the 24 Hours of Daytona; the team started from GTD pole but finished thirteenth. The team became a fan favourite for their plaid-livery Porsche, accompanied by custom race suits styled to resemble lumberjacks wearing plaid shirts and blue jeans.
In 2021 Robichon welcomed new teammate Laurens Vanthoor. The pair won at the 12 Hours of Sebring and then built momentum in the second half of the season with three further victories โ the IMSA Sports Car Weekend, the Hyundai Monterey Sports Car Championship, and the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR. A second-place finish at Petit Le Mans secured both the GTD Drivers Championship for Robichon and Vanthoor and the GTD Team Championship for Pfaff Motorsports. Across the ten-race season they recorded four wins and six podiums.
With Pfaff moving to the GTD Pro class in 2022, Robichon transferred to Wright Motorsports for the Michelin Endurance Cup rounds. In his debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona he took class victory alongside Ryan Hardwick, Jan Heylen, and Richard Lietz.
Following his Daytona victory, Robichon joined Proton Competition in the European Le Mans Series, driving a Porsche 911 RSR-19 in the GTE class alongside actor Michael Fassbender and Porsche factory driver Richard Lietz. He won the ELMS GTE class championship with Proton Competition in 2023. His debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2022 ended in a disappointing sixteenth in class and fifty-first overall. He has subsequently competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Proton Competition and in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with Heart of Racing.
Robichon holds degrees in business and finance. Outside of racing he owns an event management company that runs driving-related activities for Porsche Canada, employing around thirty staff to deliver driving experiences for Porsche owners, track days, and winter safety courses.
