Suárez began karting in 2002 and won a class championship in 2007 before moving into NASCAR Mexico competition. He won the NASCAR Mexico Mini-Stock category in 2008 as the youngest winner in that series. In 2010 he earned Rookie of the Year honours in the NASCAR Mexico Series for Telcel Racing.
